HBS PLATE EVO is the wood screw designed for fastening metal plates to timber in outdoor environments.

Its truncated cone-shaped head and greater thickness enable secure fastening of plates to timber. The small sizes (5,0 and 6,0 mm) are also suitable for timber-to-timber joints. HBS PLATE EVO is perfect for fastening Rothoblaas standard plates in outdoor environments. The 5 mm diameter version is also suitable for fastening patio deck planks.

The special 20 μm multilayer C4 EVO coating with a surface treatment of epoxy resin and aluminium flakes showed no rust after 1440 hours of salt spray exposure testing, according to ISO 9227.

Made of carbon steel, with a coating that is highly resistant to corrosion, it can be used in service class 3 outdoor applications and under class C4 atmospheric corrosion conditions.

HBS PLATE EVO is ideal for use with wood-based panels, solid timber, glulam, CLT, LVL, and high-density and aggressive woods. Service classes 1, 2 and 3.
