Timber Frame Ties are suitable for tying masonry outer cladding to softwood structural framework of domestic dwellings and industrial/commercial buildings up to 4 storeys and not greater than 15m in height.
Suitable at a density of 4.4 ties per square meter for buildings anywhere in the South East of England where basic wind speed does not exceed 44 m/s and for buildings on town and city sites in areas where the basic wind speed does not exceed 52 m/s. In more severe situations the tie density should be increased to 7 ties per square meter.
•Grade 1.4301 austenitic stainless steel to EN 10088-2.
•Complies with a DD140 Type 6 tie.
•Tested by Ceram Research.
•Meets with the appropriate parts of NHBC standards.
•Complete with annular ring shank nails.
