SawTec screws – supplied in a range of diameters and lengths available in-store and online at Swiftfix. These wood screws have a special screw tip and saw teeth under the head, with a two-stage cylinder head. The special geometry of the screw tip reduces screw-in torque and also avoids splitting effect when screwing in. These fixings come in hardened carbon steel, electro-galvanised for use in service classes 1 and 2 in accordance with DIN EN 1995 – Eurocode 5.
