Self Drilling Screws with a drill point for self drilling into steel of varying thicknesses.

Often called Tek screws they are available in various head styles including countersunk, hexagon head, pan head and wafer head. The self drilling screws vary in drill point types which relates to the material they are fixing to. If the tip is smaller and the thread is coarse this is normally for up to 3mm material. With a long drill tip and fine thread it is generally used on thicker steels from 5mm to 12mm. Or even 20mm with double drill point versions.
