Rainwater Screws are fixings for use whilst installing PVCu rainwater systems, including gutters and downpipes. Their design is specifically for the fitting of brackets and clips during installation. Installing into brick requires a red (5.5mm) plug. The single slash on 25mm+ long fixings reduces the torque and the likelihood of the timber splitting. This is likely when the screw is inserted close to the edge. Its 40° deep single thread provides a secure fixing with high pull-out resistance. Its corrosion resistant coating can withstand 1,000 hours of salt spray. Available from Swiftfix in Black or White, in tubs of 200, 300 and 400 depending on size.
