Application Instructions

For the best adhesion, ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from dust, grease, oil and loose material. Cut the tape to the required length, remove the release liner if fitted and apply firmly over the joint. Smooth the tape down from the centre outwards, removing trapped air and ensuring complete contact with the surface. Apply additional pressure along edges, overlaps and uneven areas.

Important Information

Check that the tape’s stated temperature range, fire classification and adhesive specification are suitable before using it near boilers, flues, high-temperature equipment or fire-rated systems. Aluminium foil tape should not be used as a substitute for an approved structural fixing, electrical insulation tape or a certified gas-flue repair product.
