Lifting Eye Bolts are very important in the safe handling of heavy equipment and loads. Its threaded shank or rod is securely screwed into a structure. Once securely in place, ropes or cables can be anchored to or fed through the loop or ‘eye’. These are heavy duty to the din standard 580 C-15 which are ideal in rigging for lifting heavy loads. But a smaller eyebolt can be of use for tensioning wires, securing loads and in other non-load bearing applications.
