Aluminium System Profile Connector EVO

The aluminium system profile connector EVO can be used to infinitely extend the system profiles. All that is necessary is that the connectors are to be plugged in and screwed with the screws supplied in the packaging, resulting in extremely stable results.

The Aluminium System Profile EVO Slim

This product can be combined with Eurotec’s ECO-Line and Profi-Line adjustable feet, making it ideal for the multi functional Paving System installation system. Has similar benefits to that of the Aluminium System Profile EVO.

Aluminium System Profile Connector EVO Slim

The aluminium system profile connector EVO can be used to infinitely extend system profiles. All that is necessary is that the connectors are to be plugged in and screwed with the screws supplied in the packaging, resulting in dimensionally stable results. (Works completely in the same way as the non-slim connector and has only been adjusted for the System Profile EVO Slim).

The Twin System Clip – for the hidden fastening of decking with grooved sides

The system clip is placed between two wooden decking boards before being secured within the board groove using a stainless steel clamping plate. This plate is then attached to the aluminium substructure using a drilling screw between the joints. The spacer domes ensure uniform joint spacing from board to board. (The product comes with the clip and a screw).

This self drilling screws/wing-tipped screws are suitable for the visible fastening of decking boards to the Eurotec EVO aluminium profiles and the HKP support profile, aluminium function strip and EVO Slim aluminium profile.


  • Limited resistant to rust and is NOT resistant to acid
  • Unsuitable for use in chlorous atmospheres (containing trivalent chlorine)
  • Unsuitable for types of wood that contain high amounts of tanning agents. E.g. cumaru, robinia, oak etc.
  • Stainless steel is in accordance with DIN 10088

Information on Working with Wooden Decks

  • Pilot-Drilling – The best method for working with problematic woods. This mostly includes types such as hardwood and tropical woods, however some coniferous types can have a tendency to crack easily. E.g. Douglas fir. The pilot-drilling method prevents the wood splitting, but you must always ensure there is a minimum of 6mm in edge distance at the end of the board.
  • Always take into consideration extreme fluctuations in wood properties within the same type of wood as the sources can vary significantly.

Magnus Hook Connector






(New Extended Range)

The Magnus Hook Connector is used to create node joints in timber-frame construction. These joints can be completely prefabricated, impressively minimising the assembly times on the construction site. Two different components make up the Magnus connector, including wood construction screws and fixing screws. When in use, the two separate parts of the connector are attached to their specific structural members using the wood construction screws of which smoothly slot into one another without the requirement of applied force. The two components of the Magnus are supported against the other using the fixing screws. As a result, this adequately prevents the unintentional loosening of the joint. The Magnus connector can create joints that can be statically loaded in five different directions, with high verified load values. Installation can either be hidden (milled in) or visible (for shadow-groove connections).

Suitable for use in virtually all areas of timber-frame construction

Assembly of Hidden/Milled-In Main/Secondary Beam Joints:

  1. Begin by adjusting the end stop of the milling and assembly jig to the required size of the Magnus Hook Connector, then apply and crew on the milling and assembly jig to create a routed slot with the equivalent groove-milling cutter.
  2. Insert the connector into the routed slot and fasten using the supplied system screws. The milling and assembly jig is then placed in the same position as before on the component that needs to be connected, this is where the second part of the Magnus connector is screwed on. The connected component is now hooked in place and pre-assembly is now complete.
  3. Fixing screws are then inserted into the Magnus connector, pulling the connector and hook together (if necessary), ensuring the node joint is positioned correctly.

For visible installation, milling is not necessary and the milling and assembly jig is ONLY used as an assembling jig.

Pre-Assembly Joist:

1. To fix the Magnus connector in place, screw full threaded screws into the end grain of the joist at a 90 degree angle.

2. (Does not apply for Magnus XS 30 x 30) Screw full threaded screws into the end grain of the joist at a 45 degree angle and then fix the Magnus connector in place.

Drill Tool 50X (The New Decking Tool)

Drill Tool 50X

Introducing the new Drill Tool 50X produced by Eurotec. A drilling template that allows the invisible fastening of decking boards. This tool enables you to fasten your boards down indirectly, without the visibility of screw heads when completed. Fixation points within the product, optimally placed on either side, ensures screws will be screwed  in evenly at a 50 degree angle. Furthermore, the built in spacer automatically creates an equal joint gap between the individual boards at a measure of 6mm.


The most prominent advantages of using this product starts with its ability to allow for the simple and quick installation of decking boards. With all of the outlined aspects mentioned above, the spacer and fixation point parts of the Drill Tool 50X ensures an even joint pattern result.

The Process:

  1. Prepare the area by placing the decking boards on the substructure. Make sure that water-logging is prevented and better ventilation is allowed through ensuring that a distance between the board and substructure is created (TENAX spacer, EPDM tape 3mm etc.), depending on the type of wood used. In the case of hard and tropical woods, fastening points should be pilot-drilled to the diameter of 4mm (board thickness only).
  2. The Drill Tool 50X should then be placed on the decking boards in direction with the substructure.Drill Tool 50X decking.jpg
  3. Attachment points should then be pre-drilled (for any kind of wood used) using the fixation points using the step drill within 3.3mm to 4.5mm.Drill Tool 50X decking 2.jpg
  4. This next process can be carried out with or without the Drill Tool 50X. Using the pre-drilled points (which should be at a 50 degree angle), place the screws in the holes starting with the screw in the other direction. Drill Tool 50X decking 3.jpg

(To prevent the damaging of tools when using a clamp, an additional spacer of at least 6mm is necessary between boards.)

We mainly stock the premium AG blue+ coated version that has a higher corrosion resistance than zinc and is free of chromium(VI) oxide which is classified as harmful and hazardous to the enviroment.

The Paneltwistec are also available in Hardened Stainless Steel which has the same corrosion resistance to A2 but is 60% stronger.


A PT1000 version for external use – salt spray tested to 1000 hrs.
